At a guess the down pipe to the system clicking as it returns to normal angle... its always same revs.... needs a bit of a look at I think by the dealer.

I read somewhere that there is a breaking in period for first 1000 miles they only had 170 ish on the meter I wouldn’t of been red lining it like that just yet. But the engine did sound nice inside the the drivers seat, looked powerful and fast!

Watch the diff locks in the 50-70mph bit, system must be detecting wheelspin and partially locking both e-diffs! I used to see this in my SDv6 RRS on road too. Yes, but they should have made the reversing lights down there and as bright instead of the pathetic old Defender brilliance headlights that are the reversing lights.......and illuminate nothing and the reversing camera isn’t good in low light levels or at night.
The rear lighting though gives the Blackpool Illuminations a good run for the money! Looking at that photo it looks like the number plate lighting illuminates things better than the reversing lights, just that they point down and not outward! The powerful Uk reverse kit looks very good. How would the dealership take it though ?
Would it put the validity of the warranty in question ? |

I would not have thought so as its just plugged in to the original loom... no splicing or anything... if you disconnected and removed lights - no one could ever know.
But obviously that's an opinion not a fact. |

Would they deny you warranty if you fitted a rear mounted floodlight/ working light like was a common feature on the older generation Land Rovers? I’ve seen at least one farm based New Defender with a rear working light. Why does it not surprise me to hear that once again Gerry and his team have made a basic design error?
Surely designing reversing lights that work effectively can't be that difficult. Is this another example of form over function with a lack of common sense and adequate testing? |

A reversing light is a warning to other drivers, they’re not designed to light up where you’re going.
Easy enough to fit additional lighting for reversing if needed. I put a nice wide angle LED on my 90 which works very well. |

They are useless as warning lights as well because they are tiny white strips of weak LEDs jammed in between the upper and lower brake lights. The red lights overpower the white at night.
