Does it do this with the engine running as well? The timer will only engage with the engine running and the oil pressure light off. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

thanks, thats what i was afraid of.
Yup i have read that it only works with engine running and correct oil temp. Sounds like i need to start replacing the relays ! |

Nothing to do with oil temperature. It’s oil pressure. Once the oil pressure switch opens (oil warning lamp off, i.e. engine running) then the timer will operate the relay.
