Exhaust smell in cab
I get a faint exhaust smell inside the cab while running ac/heat. When I roll down the front windows, I can also get the exhaust smell. I've checked the engine bay everything appears to be tight. When I open the hood I also smell the exhaust. Its a 20K mile 110. Its my 1st puma, my TD5 never smelled like this. Point me in some areas that I should look at?

Thank you

Sometimes if the wind is blowing from rear to front, the heater intake can draw in fumes from the outside, it's quite common.

I park with my truck parked next to a wall in the morning and it fills up the cab as the fumes just stack up against the wall and the heater intake sucks them in.

Might be a thing, might not, but mined smelled like hot oil for a couple of weeks leading up to an intercooler hose failing.
Also worth checking is the crankcase vent hose. Roaming around 🇳🇴🇨🇭

Check the foam gasket on the intake ducting to motor assembly, these often part and leave a gap drawing engine bay air in.
I fitted a second gasket to mine and has been good ever since. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I had the same sort of thing, but with smoke.
I just accepted it as a land rover feature, because it happened on my last one.
It went away after I had the hoses done.
Apparently the fault should have shown up sooner but the remap was preventing it.

Had the same just before I lost power due to a split intercooler hose. Was an easy fix. Thumbs Up
