finally got round to actually rustproof the land rover today and boy what a lovely job it is took me about 6 hours on Saturday to mask up and prep the underneath what's the tin foil and masking tape I can see why they want £1000 to do it

Good job there, I too did my own some time ago and is still going strong now, in fact I haven’t had to re-do it either! In years..
