As a guess I'd say black is common and blue/green is set/resume.

Black is the common input to both switches - connect this to the red cruise supply line from above diagram.
Blue is the "RES" (resume) output wire Green is the "SET+" output wire I can supply the 3 pin plug and terminals or crimped wires if you need. For what it's worth I don't agree that that diagram is totally correct, it supplies 12V to the "brake off" input (pin 10) at all times when the cruise is switched on, when it should break to open circuit when the brake pedal is pressed. You can do this with a small changeover relay operated from the brake pedal output. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

I have this schematic:
However my power supply does not come from the ecu as I don't use the clutch sensor. That is not a problem as the ecu sees a speed and rpm difference if you depress the clutch and will cancel the CC too. You don't really need a master on/off switch as the CC only starts working after you push the set/acc butoon and cancels after you push cancel/resume or the brake or Clutch pedal. I found that I never switch it off. After a small search on the web: This is what I use. Click image to enlarge So it is the same as yours. For the switch use a multi meter or a light to see how the switch works. Wonderful. Thank you! Should have asked on here first! Found a 3 plug on ebay and used that! Hopefully i wont wreck it again. Will the pin10 cause me any issues wired as per the diagram? Instagram @defender_ventures Empire Tuning - Agent |

I don't think pin 10 will give issues as I use it too. Roel

Ok slowly getting there!
D2 switch is in and wired as per the replies. Just looking for a good switched 12v behind the gauges any suggestions? Instagram @defender_ventures Empire Tuning - Agent |

Im just getting round to doing this using the same diagram roel produced (2nd one)
Mines an old td5 but im using an NNN ecu so i assume it should work fine. Ive got a 1.2 transfer box so i know i need a speedo healer. Is it possible to test the CC before splashing out on the speedo healer? I think i read somewhere it might engage in 4th but not 5th with a 1.2 box, is that right? Also when i do buy the speedo healer does it have to be installed somewhere different to its normal postion? I seem to remember reading somewhere you have to wire it in somewhere else. Will it all make sense when i buy one? |

Thatd be good to know. I've not finished wiring mine in yet, should get it done this weekend after I triple check the wiring and finally get the 12V live feed in.
Mines totally different being on 285/75 tyres, 1.3 TX box anc higher ratio 5th..... Instagram @defender_ventures Empire Tuning - Agent |

I’m hoping to have mine done this weekend too. Where are you taking your iginition live from?
I’ve gone around with a meter and I think I’m taking mine from the white cable going to the wiper stalk. When I fitted the Rev counter I re did the loom for the clocks and don’t really want to open that up again. Also don’t want any additional plugs to the clocks than the standard ones. |

Got all the wiring in and finished this evening. With the engine running on the drive I switched on the master switch and it showed on nanocom and cruise control on so I’m very pleased. I didn’t got for a test drive though as on the nanocom it also showed my clutch switch isn’t working, just constantly saying ‘off’
Does anyone know the part no for a td5 clutch switch and do I need it or will it work unplugged? Click image to enlarge |
