Finally removed the old front mounts amber twin rotating beacon on the roof rack of the 110 and replaced with 8 LED flashing units mounted under the roof rack. A lot tidier and a bit more stealthy. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Rewired the wireless winch controller so out is out and in is in. When I rewired it while ago, I got the wireless wires on wrong. The wander lead/wired control worked as it should. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Gave my air box a clear out.
(Going in for service soon). Managed to find at least four wasps in there. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

Eventually managed to program the new keyfob that I brought and started to clean off some of the underside Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details |

Today was fit wheel bearing in a car park after it collapsed on the M56. Luckily it decided to expire at the 300 yard marker so a prompt exit was made

fancy floor, Steve! Did you make the design for the cupboards yourself? I assume by the layout you didn't go for a seating option inside the camper? Do you have a topic where you documented the built up? |

Started yesterday but finished today after running out of light (and dryness!!!):
A bit of maintenance, had a worn rear top bush and ARB drop link so replaced both on both sides: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Also treated myself to a NAS rear step which despite needing fettling (to be expected given LR build tolerances) rather disappointingly didn't come with a complete set of bolts Click image to enlarge The observant will notice that this set up is currently useless for towing(!) the tow bar and electrics are still attached to the old drop plate. Having run out of both swear words and skin on my knuckles, I'm happy to leave it in a drive-able state and mount the hardware another day. |

Replaced standard half shafts and drive flanges for one piece units. Whilst there changed the bolts for cap heads.
