Its a fundamental part of the axle location and can affect steering too. Bumps where the panhard will move will put leverage on the top bolt. Steering input can also move the bar outwards and not feel great.

My mistake, no leverage, just looked at picture. Thought it was the bottom one. Cheers

I was thinking about a clamp but don't have one big enough. Unless you count my bench vice. Not sure how that would go down. Lol. |
