United Kingdom 2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black
Which rattle can?
I've just purchased and fitted a pair of front and a pair of rear mudflap brackets in polished stainless from Bison. Pleased with the quality (same thickness as originals 2mm). I'm pleased with the fronts but I think the rears would look better in satin black to match the cross member. I don't want to get the spray gun out as it will take four times as long to clean it out as it will to spray the brackets, so can anyone recommend an etch primer in a rattle can?

I’ve used U-pol acid 8 on aluminium, and expect it would be ok on stainless steel, although it does not say for use on stainless.

I use arc rite for their corroless chassis paints but they also do an acid etch that they state covers stainless as well as aluminium and galvanised steel https://www.arc-rite.co.uk/aluminium-stain...zontalTab1
