Perhaps you don't have a battery-backed alarm sounder.

Hi Blackwolf,

I think I do cause the alarm went crazy when I disconnected the battery without the ignition cycle thing.
On the 2nd or 3rd battery disconnect without the ignition cycle, the alarm was not so loud and felt like the battery backup voltage was going lower. No idea if the battery is replaceable, or if it will charge over time. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
