Mirror Arms
My mirror arms have gone flakey. I opted for some new britax arms over cheap mirrors.

Does the mirror arm push off the bottom bit in with the spring that fits to the door hinge? What’s the best way to change them once removed from the car?

Don’t want to be overly rough.

Thoughts welcome

You need to undo the door side of the top hinge and the open out the hinge to get to the screws that hold the arm on. Easy enough to do. You can’t split the arm from the spring hinge bit as far as I am aware.
