Switch backlight replacement leds
The rear screen wash and rear screen wipe push button switches on my Puma have lost their backlighting. Has anyone tried replacing the small leds which are soldered on to the switches?

Not replaced them but modified a switch. Soldering in a new LED should be no problem.

I guess getting the right type of green and the same brightness would be trial and error.



Did you check them by supplying 12V to each LED separately?
It's strange that two of them should fail at the same time.

One failed a while ago, now another one has gone. Good power and earth from switches.
I was going to get a couple of old freelander ones and rob the leds from them.
