I have done tHis using the felt that he recommends. The first window was as he described and the felt was a couple of inches short. Did the other window last week, felt was 3” too long which was good. It does work and stops the window rattling. Did the first window a year ago and still good.

Done that, now it seems that the fixed rear part is rattling. Anyone else have that?

Completed this today with my daughter. Very easily done once you watch the video first. I bought three strips from Paddocks but you only need two full ones and two little add ons about three inches each. Big difference in the new felt and the remains of the old existing felt. Went for a test drive and all seems well. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

This is a much better solution to the felt:

Very easy to fit without removing the glass.

The glass does not have to be removed to put in the new felt. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

I have used this channel on a couple of Puma 90s and also Wolf doortops with good effect.

I used black cable ties, I just cut off the heads and then jammed the ties into the top and bottom window gaps, works great Thumbs Up

I did the cable tie thing as an interim stop rattling fix. But I wanted my daughter to be able to open and close the windows so we did the felt fix. Does not take long and it is easy to do. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

What's the best way to get the new felt to go around the corner of the windows??

You just make a "v" with the felt and feed it into the channel . It is all in the video and it is very easy to do. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
