I bought an LED worklamp with the intention of bolting it to the the back of my 90 as is conventionally done but was persuaded by a friends set up to mount it on a couple of little brackets that hang from the gutter. With the addition of a length of twin core, a 12v plug and socket from Mud UK I now have a lamp that will hang from the gutter anywhere around the sides and back of the 90. Very handy when camping

Again, another up date. Rear light fitted as per Craigs drawing and piccys. Spot on. Works a treat. I havent put the second switch in as the wiring to the front I think would be a bit raggy if no route is a available. But again thanks too all.

I wired my led worklight with switch and relay switch on inside to use as worklight for trailer loading camping etc and wired to reverse light so comes on when in reverse but reverse light not on when work light switched on ..both on to reverse only work on when switched on.
using led light means you can use much thinner wire ..and when I fitted mine I used stainless steel bolt then drilled through bolt (on lathe) and ran wire through centre of bolt and you don't have another hole with gommet in your body work looks much neater |

Has anyone tried the LED "scene light" from Mudstuff - it looks to be quite discrete and not as vulnerable as a classic style work lamp? ... Or one of the similar flush fitting LED light bars?
Thinking of wiring one in with a dashboard switch so I can use it either for real work light duties or as an occasional supplement for tricky night-time reversing. |

I have 2 of these http://4x4overlander.com/lights/lightforce-stubby-worklight.html bought from 4x4 Overlander (site sponsor). All you need is an extra 1 or 2 accessory sockets & some extension cable.

Would also like to know that. Thinking whether one could be fitted to the lower frame of a Patriot rack. |
