[quote="keith"]Strip out done and air intake mod started.
Plastic Landrover intake - airbox is a terrible shape and design and at only an inch diameter I’m glad it’s out. By removing the radio antenna, this freed up space and allowed the bulkhead and inner wing areas to be waxoyled, cleaned and moving parts greased up. New Naka antenna ordered from Barbara.
Loads of space now available from wing to air box. 102mm flexi pipe ordered from demon tweaks along with finished flange for the wing intake.
I have decided not to use any angled bends or reducer pipes so straight through from wing to air box.

Keith,
This seems like a very sensible solution, especially as I have relocated my aerial to the roof! So you can get 100mm pipework all the way to the airbox ... def the way forward! Got pics of the completed job? I’ll hit the DT site now.
