I am so pleased I took this photo a couple of weeks ago, as it is a reminder of how happy our Golden Labrador Rosey, was even in her last few weeks, unfortunately she went on the long walk to the sky last night, so sad, but no more pain and discomfort for her.

Our Lakeland is normally out at work with me in the 130 every day, but she seems to be taking lockdown in her stride....

Thank you everybody for your messages, yes it is hard at the moment, especially indoors when you expect her to be around, but so far I have only called her 3 times.
She had 13 enjoyable years, but unfortunately had had various operations for Cancer, and having had our previous 3 dogs also having cancerous lumps, we were told by our vet that they suspect the wheat content of dry food encourages these lumps, hence we have put the current 2 on a raw food diet, which is a lot more expensive, but they are thriving on it, lets hope it pays off into their older age! Sako243, I did not realise how much hard work pups were until my Mum & Dad had their litter, I feel your pain, but it is great fun also, lovely looking pups, but I wont be showing my wife the pictures! |
