My wife's uncle died at the weekend. She watched the funeral on line. A maximum of 10 are allowed at the funeral and burial. The uncle's wife is in a bad state of health now. Not much hope. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

My aunt recently sufferer pneumonia in the Dominican Republic (she has severe asthma) and got back to UK in an air ambulance.
She then promptly caught Covid-19 and ended up on a ventilator in a NHS hospital in Surrey for a week. She's just been discharged in acceptable shape. Just wanted to stress that this b*gger of a virus is horribly infectious but not a death-sentence... and massive praise for the NHS Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I love poetry but rather than read it I prefer to listen to it being read so has anyone any poems / verse either written or performed that is relevant to the NHS and it’s staff, whatever they do to help keep us well?
Here is one written and performed by Michael Rosen (former children’s laureate) celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the NHS but equally relevant in these times. Michael Rosen in now in hospital receiving treatment for C-19, he is 73 years old. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |
