The BBC & CV-19
Does anyone else feel that the BBC have an agenda that kicks Govt. efforts at every turn... Nightingale hospital- outstanding effort Ventilators coming online ( just in time) & some serious reverse engineering to improve them 58,000 NHS drop off points for PPE 1000’s of volunteers returning to help ALL whilst trying to carry on dealing with other diseases & accidents at the same time with reduced staffing Etc etc Now the BBC are rolling out the Shadow health minister to follow their left wing agenda Someone please tell me they didn’t behave like this during WW2. Time for the BBC to be broken up & abolish the licence fee Guy May your life be like toilet paper ; long & useful. |

Yes, I agree Chopperone.
I am not a great fan of Boris, but, under the circumstances, I think the Government has generally done really well. It’s not as if anyone has any experience of the last one. But I don’t think the BBC should be singled out on this. Sky News is equally as dismissive of everything. From what I have seen of the Newspapers online (I don’t waste my money on their out of date drivel) they can’t say anything positive either. Ok. I am sure there are things which could have been done better, but hindsight is a wonderful gift. |

Mind you, my bog has to endure a "natural biological attack" every morning, and it seems to manage.
Sorry, I think the effect of work is starting to wear off. |

Pretty much the same in Aussie. Your BBC= our ABC, and they are usually "left of center"! Our Govt is doing a great job, ABC & Labor are generally supportive, but the ultra lefties cannot rise above their usual leftie crap, & feel compelled to criticize for no good reason. Pickles. |

My step father is in hospital in Colchester with suspected CV. He went in on Saturday by ambulance, after spending several days in bed feeling rough and getting weaker (to the point he couldn't stand, couldn't get off the floor into bed). No cough, no temperature at that time. He has had a CT scan and other tests. It appears he has a serious lung infection and has been tested for CV (results due in a couple of days) but is now in isolation being treated for CV. He is 73, he plays golf a couple of times a week is pretty fit and healthy for his age. Today my twin managed to speak to him and he is very confused. The first question he asked was whether the golf club was still open. He can't stand on his own let alone swing a club, but perhaps he's thinking happy thoughts!
Just now left hoping he'll start to pick up in the next few days and also that Mum hasn't got it. Stay safe. |

Sorry to hear that Huttopia. I think the golf club thoughts are a good sign 👍
