Very much a Friday afternoon finish
I bet there are lots of bodges that go on with all manufacturers that are never discovered. |

These days there should be very little bodged, we forget that the 'manufacturers' actually manufacture very little if nothing, they assemble parts from other manufacturers to create a vehicle, chassis and axle cases GKN, engine Ford, gearbox Getrag, lights Lucas etc.
Don 't know which brand of muppets did the bulkheads though......... |

I accept the now old Defender was inperfect and virtually hand built which to me is part of the appeal, however that is bad on a structural part that should be of a reasonably consistent standard.
I wonder who made the bulkhead at that time? |

Hey, posted a few times on other threads, but if this was mine, I'd post a photo up on one or more of twitter feeds of JLR senior management without any derogatory language and see if a little positive energy couldn't flow back.

Will @ LR Workshop posted a video which included the manufacturing of bulkheads which was quite interesting; footage from about 8:50 onwards - Enjoying the video series Nige! |
