Hi Gary. Glad you’re finding them good. Hope I don’t regret my change!

I have gone for ET 0 Wolf wheels with 255/85 Toyo open country.

You can when they land, they’re due for delivery this week. Once they’re on I’ll get some pictures put up. At the moment it looks like this

That’s so right Jim, the MTRs will be put to good use on the off road work with 4x4response on my partners 110 (poppy does get muddy but not as serious as my partners 110!)

The drive south has found the ride to be much quieter and smoother... just got to work out the best tyre pressures for the set... thinking of 40psi rears and 30 psi fronts ... any advice anyone ?

(Pic before adding air to the tyres .....)

Hi wyvern, nice look you got going there Thumbs Up

I have 265/75s and run 29/30 in the fronts and 36/40 in the rears depending on what loads i have in the back Very Happy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

United Kingdom 2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Firenze Red
Thanks Clayton - the weight is some what static with all the fitted camper bits - Its just J’s wine stock that increases/decreases when we go off camping ! Whistle

Thanks all - Poppy is looking very Buch with the big wheels.

I have gone for 35psi front and 45psi rear and it seems to drive fine at that,

Impressions so far -
- very smooth ride - all the little bumps in the road are smoothed out
- much much quieter - even with my poor hearing I noticed the difference in the road noise
- a little bit higher when getting in and out - but after a day its not noticed again
- a little less direct on the cornering - but that may be me just getting used to the ART as opposed to the MTR and not being so hard on the steering yet.
- the speedo now reads the right speed - 60 is 60 ! - and get there at less than 2k revs ... ! so have to be a little careful with the right foot !

My MTRs and Spacers are on my partners 110 now and have to adjust the steering lock for her tomorrow ! Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html
Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold
