Thanks Clayton - the weight is some what static with all the fitted camper bits - Its just J’s wine stock that increases/decreases when we go off camping !
Thanks all - Poppy is looking very Buch with the big wheels. I have gone for 35psi front and 45psi rear and it seems to drive fine at that, Impressions so far - - very smooth ride - all the little bumps in the road are smoothed out - much much quieter - even with my poor hearing I noticed the difference in the road noise - a little bit higher when getting in and out - but after a day its not noticed again - a little less direct on the cornering - but that may be me just getting used to the ART as opposed to the MTR and not being so hard on the steering yet. - the speedo now reads the right speed - 60 is 60 ! - and get there at less than 2k revs ... ! so have to be a little careful with the right foot ! My MTRs and Spacers are on my partners 110 now and have to adjust the steering lock for her tomorrow ! Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |
