I got mine done today.
As expected the Scrivets. (Plastic rivets) were the biggest pain.
All of them except for one all spun around, although I’m not bothered as according to the WSM they are basically a throw away part.

I managed to pry up the centre screw with a sharp small flat blade screwdriver.
Then remove that out with a trim tool. (Pictured with red handle).
Then the same procedure with the Scrivet body.
Such a pain they were and took 3x more than the job of changing the washer jet it’s self.

I cleaned the mating surface on the exterior bulkhead with the old jet off. Took the opportunity to Dinitrol though the hole and around in that area too.

A deep 13mm socket hand tightened on the extension bar only done the job. Not tightened as such.

I don’t have any issue tightening up from inside, as the jet didn’t move or slip. Probably because I cleaned and dried the misting surface.

The nozzles on mine needing adjusting anyway, and the jet spray is improved on mine.

I’m sure the Optimil is great but it should be for that price.

That is with the rear Head Unit support removed. You can see the washer jet rear with the brass nut in the back there. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

👍🏻 Certainly is. That trim tool certainly helped get them out easier.

Can’t complain at 10 years plus life from the last jet. I did the rear one a year or two ago.

I might try the Optimil one day, but for now I’m happy enough. Very Happy $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

If you’re going to get a billet nozzle. Get the CSI fan jet nozzle. Bloody brilliant. And with a bit of a tweak to the feed pipe, wiring and pump it’s absolutely incredible.
