That haven't stolen it, I've sold some stock to them as sales have dwindled on here and I don't want them hanging around as they cost me a lot of money! Thanks for the heads up though

Have you considered making something similar for lower vent for the Puma? I had the Mud Heat Deflector installed on mine but IMHO it is more of a heat Restrictor (in other words - a waste of time and money) 2009 Land Rover Defender 90 SVX Soft top 60th Anniversary Edition

I hadn't to be honest, purely because of the mud heater deflector.
Also I no longer have a puma so have nothing to design from. It's definitely something I'd consider, though, if there was a hunger for it ![]() 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Now the weather is wet and cold and the drivers and passenger windows steam up. these vents if you position them correctly sends a blast of warm air on to those windows and clears them, absolutely brilliant. grafty99 has solved a problem that Land Rover never did about demisting side windows.

Hi Graffty99, received mine a couple of weeks back and fitted them today...... a very easy fit thanks.
I have a question that maybe you or one of the other members could answer....I have re-read the posts to see if this has happened to anyone else but can’t see it mentioned . With the vents fitted I have a gap at the bottom of the vent the width of the original cutout and about 5-6mm high which means the hot air is not fully going through the new vent...... do I need to make some sort of blacking plate to cover the slot? They are fitted to a 1998 300Tdi 90. ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge You can see the slot in the picture directly below the vent. |

That is strange, It hasn't been mentioned to me before. They were designed from the dimensions on my defender and seal fully.
The only other issue I have had is that the factory holes in the dash were wonky causing the vents to fit incorrectly. Looking at the pictures there is a similar looking gap in your dash. Are the vent bases square in the holes? The gap, however, definitely doesn't look like it'll seal by re drilling the screw holes. I can only put it down to defender tolerances I'm afraid. I can make you up a plate if required, however, it shouldn't effect performance too much. Send me a PM with how you'd like to resolve this and we'll work something out ![]() Cheers, George 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |
