It’s nuts watching them. Nuts. Whether the pros or the 2700th and last. There are two bike versions, if you ever want to give it a go. The one that is MTB and basically follows the trail route, or the much longer road version. I think it’s 320km and the pros do it in about 14hrs Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Got a package from 4x4Overlander. Before rushing to school for the kids I managed to fit the spare wheel protection and Mud XL wing mirrors. Going to leave the headlight hardware till I have more time...

Speaking of 4x4Overlander, how come we haven't heard anything from Brendan for such a long time, when he used to be a frequent poster on here? Is he OK?

He is no longer a forum sponsor, neither is Peter from BAS (look at the forum sponsors link to confirm this) on that basis it would be hard for him to post without members asking him if he has this or that in stock and in fairness he wouldnt be able to answer questions like that online. 2015 HT XS 90

Did not know he had left the fold. I just thought Brendan needed time to recover from the shock after he offered a discount on a few items For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

I've been speaking to Brendan and Barbara recently via email and will be seeing them at the LRO Peterborough, so far as I'm aware they are both well. Although Brendan has been offering quite a few discounts recently which is a bit concerning! Gave the defender a good blast out on deserted roads early this morning to get to Plymouth to go shark fishing and this was our best fish caught by my mate a 142lb blue shark, safety returned to the water

Readied the SVX for a holiday trip to Liguria. Wonder how it will be to get around Genova now that that bridge is no more...
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

^^^ Apparently Eric, a bit of a diversion nightmare. But that was friends driving in peak summer. Might be quieter now. At least where you're going will be worth the effort as so much of Italy is. Monsieur Le Grenadier

Tidied up the wires for the diesel heater control panel and replaced the heater loom cables joined with choc blocks with Econseal multi plug.
Exhaust wrap and exhaust clamps arrived, so next job there is to secure the exhaust with a bracket and wrap in insulation. The final wiring step is to add a 70amp relay to feed the heater switched via a carling switch on the dash. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
