Click image to enlarge Found this lurking just round the corner from where I work. It has a built in generator and was being used for a Netflix film 'Jingle Jangle'. Turned Elm Hill in Norwich into Christmas with fake snow about six weeks ago. It was being protected by it's own security guard. I did ask before I took the photo. |

Thanks Clayton. This 65 Plate had rust on the front metal grill as bad as mine did (before JLR got the bodyshop to do their magic).
The Guard was telling me they had a larger one with a larger generator set. He didn't rightly understand Defenders, but I took from that they have a 130 for the same purpose? Handy for getting power to places a trailer or truck and Hiab can't get too. This one was parked just off the road so the 4WD didn't get flexed. Never let anyone tell you that filming is environmentally friendly. There were generators everywhere. The number of vehicles they brought was immense! I did find out the snow was made from recycled paper and they made a real good job of clearing it all up. I think the film is out at Christmas for those of you with Netflix. There is someone famous in it. So famous, I can't recall his name, but I don't think he graced the streets of Norwich. Total chaos for a week around work. but very interesting to watch it all come together |

Yes it's like a whole town descends on you with the amount of equipment they need to do the filming with and was great to have a chat with the guard as well about the landy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Click image to enlarge Sorry, don't know how to link directly to Twitter, but caught this on there: "Tinged with some sadness, we bid farewell to our RWMIK vehicles as they move south to join @16airassaultbrigade these vehicles have deployed with us many times including exercises in Denmark, Salisbury Plain, Otterburn and Catterick. Soon we begin to train on the JACKAL platform" |

Do I spy parking rules being applied there Strang?
Been a few years since I lived over in Tod, but I think a visit back to the area is more worthwhile now 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

Yes but very briefly - we were both parked on double yellow lines - I had driven past and spotted it, so turned around and went back for the photo. "Drink?" is actually in Hebden Bridge, where there are a few good bars, but I gather there are a few in Tod too - I need to have a check! Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond..... |
