On my 2007 110, the alarm unit was the same as a central locking version, but the relay was not fitted to the circuit board. Either remote mount an aftermarket version or get a 10As from an early disco and cannibalise it.

Don't think this applies to the later black 10AS-clone.

Thanks Martin, I didn't realise LR had gone to the trouble of replacing the genuine 10AS with obviously a much better, theft proof alarm system...…!

Front windows were easy enough, but britpart needs to up their game and supply switches that use the same connectors as stock.
Rear windows were easy from LRI central lock i cheated for now, got the omega DS-kit-4.4 where if you lock either the driver or passenger door it will lock the car. but still want a remote controlled signal so its seemless. Mystery, thanks for the image, PM sent Can't leave well enough alone |
