Addin Central lock to basic unit
2015 Defender, with TDCI engine, did not come with central lock, CL, nor electric windows.

I have the five wire actuators so the doors will all lock and unlock given the front door lock position. But i would like to have it on the fob button.

What is involved. I tried takin a line from the green plug line 2 & 3, but there is no signal from those like on the green 10AS units...

On my 2007 110, the alarm unit was the same as a central locking version, but the relay was not fitted to the circuit board. Either remote mount an aftermarket version or get a 10As from an early disco and cannibalise it.

Don't think this applies to the later black 10AS-clone.

You can retrofit the correct relay into a non-central locking 10AS.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Thanks Martin, I didn't realise LR had gone to the trouble of replacing the genuine 10AS with obviously a much better, theft proof alarm system...…!

Front windows were easy enough, but britpart needs to up their game and supply switches that use the same connectors as stock.

Rear windows were easy from LRI

central lock i cheated for now, got the omega DS-kit-4.4 where if you lock either the driver or passenger door it will lock the car. but still want a remote controlled signal so its seemless.

Mystery, thanks for the image, PM sent Can't leave well enough alone
