United Kingdom 2014 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Tamar Blue
Front driver side brake
Hi , driving home and my front wheel locked up completely for no reason could not move the Landy had to get recovered.
Front drive shaft appears ok and moving freely but the disc is very hard to move any idears .

Stone jammed in caliper?. Pop caliper off and see if it frees up.

It could be a seized piston also. See if you can push the pistons back into the caliper body Thumbs Up

front flexible brake pipe failed internally

edit - scrub that as its so new and you use it in the mud most likely a caliper problem as others have said DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I'd be more inclined to think it's the wheel bearing. if it's been over torqued or has a lack of grease they will overheat. When they go they either shatter or fuse together with the heat.
