It seems such a simple idea (compared to the red rooster) if it works, surprised it hasn't been done before. James

I hope it works, but surely there is some downside otherwise wouldn’t LR have done this themselves? Seems too simple to be true. If feedback is good I’ll definitely try one. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Think I may have to try one. Rude not to at that price.

I couldn't be happier with the LOF clutch. It's brilliant.

It would have cost Landrover under £100 extra to have a galvanized chassis, - they didn't do that either 😕

I’ve ordered one. Knowing Luke’s work I reckon it’s bound to be decent but if not then it’s only £25 spent and 10 minutes to put back to standard.

No brainer.

Which of the clutches did you go for, Zed? I see they're offering 3. I feel my use/circumstances would point to the middle one, but just curious. Donald

Only down side I could think of is in the long term the spring gets weak but could take years for this to happen.

I’ve just ordered one of the springs.

A couple of months ago I fitted the same style of spring to replace my standard long spring, and it made the pedal a lot better, but it now squeaks on operating. So I’ve ordered the new one fro LOF and will see it it’s any better than the previous I fitted which I was disappointed with the fact it was Britpart when the box arrived.

Andy.

I went for the extreme spec. Middle of the 3 LOF clutches available for Puma. No rattles, clunks or slipping even when towing or acting like bit of a hooligan. TBH standard would have been more than OK for my use but the price difference wasn’t huge so I went for it.

I think they're claiming a further reduction of effort compared even to the genuine 'over-centre' spring.
