What is the difference between this LOF and? DA1266.TR at £14 inc VAT? (Apart from colour?)

I have the LR version fitted and the same thing with left knee problems. The spring mod although helps it is still sometimes painful to depress the clutch pedal. I thought when reading the description on the companies web site that this LOF spring was the solution, I know do not think so. So It might be that the Red Booster is the only solution, however, I will wait to see more reviews on this thread to see what others think once they have fitted the LOF spring.

Got to be worth trying for £25

I want a lighter pedal than my standard due to driving different vehicles. I find it difficult to swap to something with a very light clutch after driving my Def all week, especially when I had the old straight spring on it.

Did mine this afternoon, got this from another site 😳 I used a vice to close the spring then two tie wraps one on each side on the straight bits to hold in place, with the pedal up align the two ends into the side bushes and was a then depress the clutch and secure with something I just used a piece of 3x2 cut to length wedged against the seat. align the closed end of the spring with the catch at the back of the pedal, then cut the tie wraps, I used a knife as I found the snips were awkward to get in. it’s important to get the back lined up as near as possible with the back bush, ideally within it otherwise it doesn’t locate properly and springs off,

Took me about 10 attempts but I reckon now I’ve done it, I could do it again first time

The result? defiantlay less resistance, not massive but definitely easier, will know better on a longer run as was late for work so only had time to manoeuvre back onto the garage

Edited to add pics, of the old spring but should give you an idea

I wish I had seen that way of fitting with the zip ties before messing around with mine! I'm slightly worried I may have deformed mine trying to get it in!

Does your have a sharp increase of resistance towards the "top" of the pedal press like mine?

Just fitted Lukes new spring. Its brilliant.

I had the Britpart one in before to replace the older top mounted spring, i was happy with that but bought the POWERspring on a punt, differencd is even more! The weight reduction is as advertised! So much lighter now! I would suggest it!! Instagram @defender_ventures
