Well I think an update is due, so I have managed to get a few more bits done to Maggie, I think my workshop is turning into a bit of a spray booth apposed to a place of repair
I have moved her into the other workshop (awaiting the telling off from my boss ) and stripped down a few more parts for repair and cleaning, the new loom has some differences so now have to try and figure that out and there is an ever increasing pile of painted metal to bolt together: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Added a good layer of dinitrol to the fuel tank and under the seat box, no more rust I hope: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge More updates in a few days once I’m back to work 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

I know and I am far from OCD
I have a few security options to add, luckily this one will be moving to Guernsey where the theft of 90/110/Defenders etc is so low it’s practically non existent due to no ability to remove them off the island easily and such a large community of owners. I have run the Wolf without door tops and never worried, even know of some that often leave keys in the ign and it’s there on return ( not me ) but shows it’s not as bad as the uk. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

Well it’s long overdue an update on here, I’ve been dotting to and fro due to the house purchase but I now have a workshop for Maggie to return too
Some of you will of noticed a few snapshots of what’s been happening on Ig, apologies it’s taken this long to get on here. So lots of paint has been mixed and sprayed bits bolted on and other bits sworn at Started doing a few little bits on the engine as I found them: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Full instructions and a cd manual for the carb.... guess some reading to do. Reason my postie hates me Click image to enlarge Found these in the box: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Nice stopping power now. Onto the painting: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Slowly getting there eh, removed a few more parts the other day: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Rear tub is now also free, hopefully will be off soon, need to order a few more bits from you I think. Finally, I made a start on the windscreen surround today removing the little corrosion before etch priming where needed: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Sorry it’s all a bit manic 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

Cheers Clayton,
This happened the other day: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge So she’s in few choice words did get utilised and some bear hugging and manual movement of the engine definitely did my back the world of good Still mountains of stuff to do, looms to figure out what goes where as the pictures I took thinking yep all good now prove helpful for some bits but useless for others more bits arrived from YRM today so I’m hoping to get those fitted tomorrow, a few more updates to come over the next few days 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |
