Thomas Performance LED Headlights
Hi all, wondering if anyone has any experience with TP LED Headlights?

I was almost settled on some Truck Lite units from Brendan, but after having a chat with him about which ones to go for I'm even more confused! Laughing Not at all a fault with Brendan (appreciate your time) more a fault of me being fussy.

TP have a wide range of styles, I don't want one with a 'halo' at least not a full one as this to me just screams boy racer. I would like a drl as it will save me putting some elsewhere.

Mainly though interested in experience with TPUK headlights as they only have 1 year warranty Vs the 3 or 5 with Truck Lite.

IMHO it's a fancy website still selling the same class of product you get on ebay for a lot lot more. Brendan has covered at great length before on the topic of cheap LED lights and their soo called "DOT SAE E marked products" so they must be ok and up to standard.

Most people are happy as granted the light is better than the paltry standard offerings but when you get into the long term reliability and the little things like EMI causing your radio to buzz, then I would still say go with the better trusted brands like JW speaker, Nolden and Trucklite etc..etc.. Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest

Thanks for that Thumbs Up

Just done some further research on the markings etc. And can now see that these are not up to standard.

Scott,

They’re Truck Lite 2s:

When they’re off, I think they look fairly standard - which is what I wanted. I haven’t wired the DLRs.

When they’re on (I’d need to take you some photos) the only downside is the light is split horizontally across the centre. So dipped beam, top half lit. Full beam, whole light lit.

That said, they are great at night. Good range, good colour, no dark spots.

I’m very happy with them. Ian

Hi

Can I ask who Brendan is and do you have a link to his website?

I'm looking to buy some headlights and following this post it seems as though Brendan is the man I need to deal with.

Thanks

JR

Eric, just to clarify something I do not have squash fly cake on the same plate as toad in the hole and gravy! Now fruit cake with a slice of Wensleydale on top is yummy Thumbs Up

You have also forgotten that I am a grumpy old git and if you mention that nasty, evil d word in my presence you are likely to be force fed a bar of soap Thumbs Up

Apart from that thank you for the kind words folks Embarassed Thumbs Up Embarassed
