A few weeks but it will only take a couple of days to go right down, I love the smell takes me back all those years ago when I was messing about with old cars when I was a kid!

It sounds as though they have done a proper job on yours, drying, treating rust first etc

Depends on the weather, if it's hot and dry it will whiff a bit for some days as it dries off (relatively speaking of course) and the thinners evaporate, if it's cold and wet then the process will take longer but the smell won't be so pronounced. Steve.

Oil refinery smell? That's a Land Rover car aroma kit, provided as a free optional extra.

Either the smell is diminishing or I've become accustomed to it .......... hope I'm not addicted to the smell otherwise another coat could be going on..
