New stainless system fitted this week. Fits lovely. Yet to hear what it sounds like though.

Roy your DCPU is the mutts nuts
Love the attention to detail!! Please can you post a pic if the Optimill bonnet hinges and window blocks, really like their hinges but can't make my mind up on the others although your Defender has a much more modern look than mine so probably pull them off better |

Thanks Roy!
I wasn't sure on them with them looking nothing like the originals but when the bonnet hinges and window blocks are installed together like you have they look much better! Your silver paint looks ace against the black detail |

Cheers dude. Silver cab be quite a wishy washy colour. But with some elbow grease and a few accents I think it looks lovey.
Gave her a wash yesterday and she still shines under all the road grime. Click image to enlarge 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |

What does the new clutch feel and sound like after a bit of time? No rattles I presume? Any slack or a nice clean change? Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Clutch is still the same as when I put it in. Nice and smooth. Not too light but better than before. Definitely no noises from the clutch.
There’s no slack in the gearbox/transfer box. Just the rear shafts. But they will get replaced in the new year with the updated single piece shafts. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |

Thanks Roy. Sure my new standard clutcch and standard output shaft (emergency fit by a LR dealer in Spain) are both slacker and noisier than before. With the OE half shafts on the rear more the whole tranmission (clunck, rattle and slack) is more pronopunced than ever. Want to make the same upgrades you have, plus sumo bars, suspension, springs, radius and trailing arems etc. It'll never be a Caterham, but as a daily driver in the Alps it should be vastly improved.
