I followed a guide on http://defender90xs.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09...ation.html
Its not hard if you're confident in our own abilities. I have installed buttons on the side of the steering cowl that control the unit in situ so I have full functionality. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |

I also created my own sub enclosure that fits perfectly behind the double cab rear seats. It's designed to fit in the gap and have the correct capacity to allow the correct performance of the sub fitted. Also hidden out the way of prying eyes. Sounds good and makes the listening of any music much more enjoyable.

That's a really neat solution! I like it.
You don't see enough silver defenders, I'll be taking some ideas off yours though. Keep up the good work Also, what's the air box mod?? |

Thanks, the airbox mod is covered on the forum a few times but it entails removing the "cyclone" in the intake pipe and enlargening the inside of the airbox, inside the airbox is a cylinder that can be cut out to allow more air into the airbox. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

I see, it's the first I've heard about it. I'll have to look into that.
Can't beat free mods after all! |

Yeah there is a post in the search section which covers it, I used a soldering iron with a scrap tip to remove the plastic inside the airbox, leaves a smooth edge then. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html
