What a Censored on with the damage! No tyre place should be damaging wheels at all. As they should know better! ?

Unfortunately with the trend for polished and flat edged alloys removing and replacing tyres is incredibly hard without marking them. Even the hard plastic heads can mark the finish, or remove it !! If the machine had a metal head Adam, (can't make it out on the pictures) then they should never have accepted the job ! Rolling Eyes

lol, they're not so much flat or polished, they're the ZU alloys..
And as stated I get accidents happen and not overly fussed about it (I am disappointed though)

I don't drive a Chelsea tractor or Pavement Princess..

Its more the staff that got my back up.. The boss is cool though, he tried to put things right. Regards

I had a good weekend. I started out fitting a new stereo, that went well, although, I can't seem to get it to sit flush, but quite like that it sits at a angle towards me..

Next will be an old sub box I have had for years.. That'll give a better depth to the sound! Regards

Also had an adventure to Leighton Buzzard first to get a trolley in preparation for the Birmingham NEC for the bike show.

Saw this ol beaut.

We got some bits for the bikes.. Mainly helmets, 2 new road helmets and 2 new off road helmets.
I got a new jacket and jeans with armour in..

Saw a fair few people on their way to Stoneleigh for the land rover show.. Was a bit sad I couldn't make it. But I'm sure I saved enough money on bike gear to make up for it..

I did get some slight parking rules applied.

Good day to you all.

So this morning on my way to work I noticed I had a light out...

Both lights work on low beam, and as you can see the 'inner side light' works.
with the lights on, If I flash the high beam it works.
But when I put it on solid high beam both low beam and high beam stop working on the driver side light.
On another note, with the lights off, when I flash the lights, it also doesn't work.

Ill be pulling the light out this eve to look for any loose connections, and checking the fuses, and checking the stalk itself...
But if you have any other info on where to start that would be gratefully received. Regards
Adam

So I checked the fuses with a Clarke cdm10c and they are fine, I then undone the steering column couldnt seem to take it off so I put it back on all of a sudden my lights work..... Lol

Going to my garage tomorrow to get a new light stalk anyway 😁

Will update again tomorrow Regards

All is working good now.

Yesturday I did a spot of metal detecting! Wasn't too bad. Got a few old buttons and old spoon bowl and handle.
But more interestingly, I got to drive through a gloopy mud track (the track wasn't on the farmers field, but the 'road' leading upto it), & car size puddles and legitimatly use my diff lock Very Happy Twisted Evil Very Happy

Was very cool. I went as far as I dare without having to call the farmer for help lol!

Sorry this pic is bad, the only spot I could get it from with out standing in 6" of gloop, and the other side was as dirty 😔

Not as muddy as it was, but this is the state of my truck when I got home.
