The clock has a built in surface mount LED, not a removable bulb.

While im updating my thread here are a couple of pics I have taken recently... But nothing new to add 'modification' wise really..
Last weekend at church, my wife guided me back into the bay. Boy she is getting good! and getting me close - The car park has shallow spaces, so a bit tight for my 110! issues with shallow parking spaces compounded by others that aren't so diligent at parking.
It never ceases to amaze me at how useless others are at driving. big traffic island near us has this white paint on the ground that I've always thought was there to guide you round the island. others however see it as some kind of requirement to see how many times in one revolution they can drift from one side to the other and if you (me) stay one side of the line you must be some kind of moron for getting in their way! sorry |

So today I went and had some new tyres fitted. And what a polava it was....
Click image to enlarge Edited due to good customer service from the boss man Greg So.. You may have noticed I have been posting about tyre choices/dating tyres etc.. Well today I had my tyres changed.. I used a garage in the same town as me that was recommended by my garage. I went with the BFG A/T K02 in the end. But my goodness the staff were a joke.. One guy scraped up one of my rims on the tyre removal machine, after informing the manager, stating I didn't want to get anyone on trouble or complain, (but wanted it, noted incase of any issues of pressure loss in the future) the staff member gave me attitude, another guy who destroyed my locking wheel nut key and a couple of locking wheel nuts with the impact gun (he did apologise which was good) (he was the nicest) at which point I had to drive to my mechanic half hour away to get the locking wheel nuts off and then drive back to have the last wheel changed. And the third staff member had a bad attitude with me on my return (clearly the boss had been and had a word with them about the scrape while I was gone) because when I got back he made all the excuses under the sun about marks on the wheels.. I'm supposed to be going back tomorrow to get the spare done, but I shan't be going now... And I'm going to send an email to the boss... (who I did make aware of the scrape..) there was no apology from the boss, no offer of replacement for the kit they destroyed just excuses. Its not good enough when your spending nearly £700. So be warned. As an update, they emails between me and the boos are good.
I did put my reviews on social media, and my goodness it got a bit out of hand, so I removed them all. I still feel I have a right to review the service I got from the staff, but the boss and company itself are not the problem, so don't shy away from them, they have thousa ds of happy customers.. It must of been the Monday blues that I got the brunt of.. So do use them.. A member of several groups..
To be fair, the damage was an accident, and I get accidents happen, my review was more about the staffs poor attitude toward me. Greg has done his best to put it right. and its appreciated. Yeah the last thing you want is snotty attitudes and bad customer service, sadly for me I have been on the other end with snotty customers, So you really have to bite you tong and off out the back and let it go.
If I had damaged the wheel, I would have offered the cash to get it fixed. The three lads need to remember that customers pay their wages. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

Totally agree. I work front of house so get it all bud... and agree have to bite your tongue..
I didn't want anything from them, the boss has since tried to make things right - and the boss is a good guy - sadly the staff were having a bad day. Id go back, but after the hoohar on facebook, id be to afraid of any comeback from them on my truck.. so maybe in the future if new staff arrive..
