So, over the last couple of weeks I have been pottering about the house, and got some (kinda) interesting pics.. I'll fill you in over the next few posts.
I do like to take a pic when I have pulled into the car park for church. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Regards Adam Loving The Duchess The Defender 110 TD5 XS My Defender story - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic64005.html |

I also found myself in the the LRO mag! Here's my reply to them. Felt like a right donut though when I realised it was my email to them in the mag
Click image to enlarge Hello again. I emailed back in September regarding a leak. And this morning I was reading the January issue of LRO while waiting to start work, and I see a letter about a water leak which caught my attention... So as I'm reading, I'm thinking crickey, this chap has the same issue I had, perhaps I can tell him how I fixed mine! It wasn't until I got to the tissues under the sound deadening that I thought hang on a second - I look down and it's me!! HA! chuffed my question made it into LRO, made my morning, thanks peoples! And on that note, incase you want to put in how I fixed it. I pulled all the carpet out, and trim, and sound deadening, got my wife to hose down the front of the car so I could see where the water was coming from, and noted it was coming from several holes around the accelerator. I used some RTV sealant to fill the holes, and a hot air gun to speed the drying process. I tested this, and still water was coming in, but this time behind the accelerator, I attempted to remove the accelerator, but the bolts were spinning, and I couldn't get behind with a spanner. So I decided to put some RTV Sealant under/behind the accelerator. Dried again with the hot air gun. And tested again! NO WATER, fantastic! And I have had no issues since *touch wood! This month I also decided it was time that I put some lights up on the gate posts, as the drive is quite tight to reverse down, and I have to back in at an angle. I have had a few close calls with our gate and fence.
When backing up I have to be tight to the rear passenger side and all along passenger side and then tight on the front driver side to get in at a decent angle. And with these dark early night I thought I'd save the repair of a truck and gate and stick some lights up... These light up the entire post, and come on automatically with any movement within 10 meters 😁 Click image to enlarge Regards Adam Loving The Duchess The Defender 110 TD5 XS My Defender story - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic64005.html |

As far as i know the only thing that helps with your insurance is if you take the Advanced driving test 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
