I think you’ve blown the gasket between turbo and exhaust system.

I'd be interested what you find with that. Mine sounds similar when I'm 'pushing on' but is fine during normal driving. I'll have a check of my hoses etc today.

My TD5 (same set up) made the exact same noise yesterday! For about 30 mins when driving then stopped suddenly. I didnt find the cause let me know if you do.

If the turbocharger whistles with increasing speed, the shaft might be damaged or worn out. The whistling noise is caused by the metallic friction. |
