Good day,
Couple of months ago I fell in love with a 110 crew cab, former UN vehicle ROW specs. It drives like a charm! (Allisport inrercooler, silicone hoses, air box mod... may be helping tho!) However, when I read the VIN at the stealer, it says « no pressure control release valve », can anybody enlighten me? It also says « non cat », but the cat shell is present, any idea of how to check if the shell is full without dismantling it? Cheers, Bourgui |

Not sure about the 'no pressure control release valve', but if the build says no car, then you don't have to worry.

Thanks Naks for your reply, seems that I’ll be disconnecting the cat pipe to check whether it is full or not!

After checking the cat was full! I had it emptied and response is much better & consumption decreased a lot also! (on my second tank so still monitoring!
I have looked all over lots of forums and cannot find anything about the « no pressure control release valve ». I gave a call to LR and they don't know either. Anybody? |

can't imagine it is this but to my mind sounds like the valve at the end of the common rail (fuel). ?

One of the first things I checked! Valve is there...
They said non cat and cat was full, they said no pressure control release valve, let's assume there is one! Who knows? I would still prefer to have the information of what it is though... |

I would suspect it means no "pressure reducing valve" in the braking system, as it's fitted to 110 pickups but not SW

I agree. You likely do not have an ANR1415 in line next to brake master cylinder. If you look in topix, it will probably show ROW Euro 2 spec as well.

Crankcase ventilation is there - I am still hesitating to install an oil catch can but I have mixed feelings on that. Seems that the brake thingy you mentioned is not there. And yes it is a EU2 specs. Looked a bit on different forums but can not find the purpose of this valve? |
