Should blow ambient which isn’t cold right now but wouldn’t say it’s heated hot air. 1951 80" S1 2.0

what I found recent was the cable on the valve wasn't shutting it completely.
pop the bonnet and see if you can shut the valve manually / see if it sorts the problem and if it does then you just need to adjust the length of the cable. at that point perhaps you can let me know how mind you, you won't need to worry about that until winter |

I wondered if they included the huge metal bracket in the box, just to justify the price. |

J....C almighty...……………… !!!!!
£103 for a piece of plastic......and a lot of unneeded metal. Hoping that a Transit one would fit...……£135.... Couldn't just have been a slipped cable....oh no..! |

Yes, they're roughly four times the price of the much more sophisticated thermostatic, electrically controlled valves used on Ford cars. Explain that if you can.

I would imagine not just making the metal bracket but also paying someone to fit it to the metal bracket shoves the price right up.
I think I paid about £80 from my dealer, it's why it's worth building up a rapport with them. Still expensive for what it is. |
