United Kingdom 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Stornoway Grey
1 - 2007
2 - 2.4
3 - yes it's the original
4 - 225k miles
5 - n/a
6 - n/a

Note: thoroughly lubricated with MoS2 grease at 150k miles when last clutch change carried out, at which time it was a better fit than the brand-new spare I had bought just in case.

Edited to add: vehicle operates near GVW for 90% of the time, and is used for occasional heavy towing. It doesn't have an easy life! Also answer to Q3 corrected (I had mis-remembered it as asking "has the shaft been replaced" (no it hasn't) and not "is the vehicle on the original shaft" (yes it is)). My apologies for any confusion.

1. 2015, 90
2, 2.2
3, Original shaft
4, currently on 64'000 miles

About a third of those miles are heavy towing both on and off road, but I do drive with mechanical sympathy. Can see rust stain so will likely change to Ashcroft shaft and new clutch soon.

Know of someone who used to change his Defender 90 every 12 months with 35-40'000 miles on them. Every year from '09 - '15 (so 6 Defenders). Every single mile was fully loaded with tools in the back and was towing - sometimes in excess of 4 tons (on private roads....). On and off road. Driven hard and not one single mechanical failure. In fact they were some of the nicest Defenders I've driven, really 'run in' after 12 months!

Driveline suffers backlash, no rusty dust from drain hole so suspect clutch (rattly) and diff(s).

Output shaft will be swapped for Ashcroft when the clutch finally disintegrates.
