Hello, Small's Series one has a two litre spread bore engine and the other day the oil warning light came on.
We have had the switch changed and it ran fine with no warning light. This morning the light is on again. The oil level is fine with no signs of excessive consumption. As Andy pointed out, I would get it checked with a gauge.
Might be a faulty switch, but better to check properly just incase  80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Hello All
Thanks for your help as I had become a little confused as Swine was away. It appears that the wire to the pressure switch was a little chaffed and and was intermittently shorting against the engine hence the on/off oil light. Bit of tape from Swine's box and all sorted 
He will be proud of me .
