I was watching that and thinking about it for my daughters birthday in August.
Good luck keeping it hidden until October! Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

Other than driving it, and noticing the transferbox mounts are getting worn (No big deal, will get them sorted.)
I bought a Bluesea 12v socket, two in fact for two different dashes, easier than messing around with them. And genuine ones are crap, about the only good thing about them is the illumination but I wouldn't miss it. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Bought a new wash bucket today, what I had before wasn't much good and cracked so thought why not.
There is 20% off at Halfords on all Meguiars stuff too if anyone is interested, prices cheaper than around online in a lot of places. I got this for £16 most places are £20 plus minimum with delivery. Click image to enlarge KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Managed to take my newly rebuilt 200tdi Defender to and from the MOT Centre (first time in 3 years) without oil in the rear diff. 6 miles round trip.
What a silly sausage I am ! I've put oil in it now and all seems ok after 20 miles but we'll see. However , PAS pump , one of the only things along with the diffs, that I didn't replace in the rebuild, seized ! so i cut the belt and dawdled home. So PAS pump and possibly rear diff down. Not that bothered cos the intention was to replace both diffs anyway and PAS pump in the future cos of monies. Looks I'll have to spend now, not later. Hey Ho ..... An eventful day. |

Put my repaired and paint finished colour matched wheel arch spat back on and took the new but silver
(which doesn't match) one off. It's pretty good spec, no damage visible at all any more but went though the clear just in one spot and is cracked near a rivet nearest the rear. It's ideal for a temporary fit and you'd never know anything is up with it. The new one I will re-paint and then swap back eventually in good time and it'll all be sorted. Can't stand going around with a cracked wheel arch spat, but that's just me and the price I paid helping someone out of a lane they were stuck in a few years ago! Also fitted a Bluesea 12v socket to my new centre dash, again will be a temporary fit and pure gloss black. I have another socket to replace the other with too, just makes things easier without the Genuine lighter sockets. I'll only ever use it for power supply anyway. I have paint plans for my centre dash, but the gloss black will do perfectly in the intermediate. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
