Ok, so not just today, but over the past couple of weekends I have:
Stripped and reassembled the interior including full deep-clean of the dash, front and back, and vents (full of dust) Added full sound proofing (dynamat, dodomat and noisekiller) Added phase1 of AirCon (all the parts behind the dash) Upgraded sounds to Focal (2 x Tweeters, 4 x 10", 2 x 13", underseat Sub ) Tinted my rooflining off-black; not quite alcantara, but better than grey until it is POR15'd my Hubs changed my brake pads Changed the fuel filter Treated and re-sprayed the rear cross member Treated and re-sprayed the side-steps Removed, cleaned, rust-proofed and marine-grease-treated all the nuts/bolts exposed to the underside of the vehicle (floorpanels etc) Added stainless steel doorbolts and realligned the doors Added supplementary door-seals Added new Bosch aeroblade wipers Cleaned out and re-greased all the locks/door mechs Deep cleaned the seats/carpet Touched up all scratches and exposed paint Added central locking All shiny, clean and improved. Next jobs, finish aircon, buy/fit suspension, buy/fit intercooler/remap Tomorrow she will be cleaned and waxed externally, filled up, loaded up and we'll be heading to Mallorca!! The SVX is (temporarily) becoming a working vehicle. Daily trips pulling the trailer to move boxes, etc. to our new house to lighten the job to be done on actual moving date which is not that far away anymore. Lucky strike that the new car port is just high enough, the truck enters with barely 3 to 4 cm to spare.
Eric Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Lubed my wiper spindles, likely go further though in due course and probably replace wheel boxes etc.
Will see how they go. Also greased all door hinges, locks and mechs. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

^^^ I've put a few drops of oil on the spindles every couple of months, since it was new. If you've caught it in time Steve they should be fine

Bought this kit (dash) over 2 years ago and just got round to fitting.
What a pain, to sort the camera I've had the unit out many times... Happy as now, Dab +, USB, Bluetooth phone, Android Auto with Maps etc. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

I have an android phone so wanted Android auto for Google maps etc. , It's also DAB + and I have the aerial on one of the sky light windows, then the usb input in the middle near the cup holders Works well, not too pricey and does everything I need, |
