That type of incident adds "character" or "patina" to the vehicle.
I'm a past master at it so I feel your pain ![]() |

Spent a couple of hours pressure washing and cleaning the underneath of the Defender then an hour with an airline “blow drying” in readiness for topping up the Dinitrol coating tomorrow with 6 x rattle cans, the Dinitrol coating is a year old next week where did that time go!! Surprising how much “crevice” muck there was considering I pressure wash the chassis regularly, a strangely satisfyingly day

The club were invited, I think the series 2 club will be there,
Sounds like the 50th club/register are there too? They offered a free unguided look around the workshops, with breakfast! The only condition was turn up with a Series 1. Done deal! ![]() Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. Last edited by ian series 1 on 19th May 2018 7:49pm. Edited 2 times in total |

![]() Click image to enlarge Yesterday I picked up new tent & awning. And last week I picked up another sankey ![]() Click image to enlarge Made more sense to pick it up with works pickup whilst I was in London working than doing the 400 mile trip on a weekend. |

Boys with their new toys. You couldn't resist a 'play'
![]() Nice set up. Will the Sankey be colour coded and retain the tent as well? Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

The 1.2 off the trailer is sold. Trailer is stripped now ready to paint. Chassis going black and think the body will go bronze green/Forrest green.
Would of liked to done it same colour as defender but I don’t know if I’ll keep it or change my defender so it’s to keep it a bit more future proof. 2.4 will go it and will over hand front and rear 250mm but I’m sure it’ll be fine. Making a bracket to mount awning too as well |

The motor museum at Gaydon is full of Land Rovers, as well as lots of other British cars, of course.
Love the pop top - very cool. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |
