The Unimog museum is just for the one vehicle ... they have off road areas and obstacle courses where you can be a passenger or even drive the vehicles, there are exhibits showing the different roles that they undertake and explanations of the various parts of the drive train ... something that landrover could do with the S1-Defender mark with ease ! Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html
Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold

Nice roof Wyvern, is that similar to Kev's at Mud?

Unimog museum? I'll be looking into visiting that Cool

I added more speed holes today, great to shift air through. With the fans running, I put a piece of paper over them and it was lifting... It's got to make a difference I'd have thought.

There aren't many working Doe’s left now Big Cry

Most got split up and turned into working tractors when the front or rear unit wore out,
I can’t remember which now? But one engine wore quicker than the other.

I think the last one to be restored was made from a pile of parts collected up through years searching.
The centre turntable is the stumbling block!

The later 130 doe was one of my favourites, amazing old tractors, with great British engineering Thumbs Up 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Great old tractor, a solution to the problem of grip and power through British engineering
