made a lot of progres on the car.
decided to leave the original dashand instruments in. connect everything wich is not canbus. later i have to figure out the canbus signals. it should be possible to get the car on the road without the complete dash working so i by time to program the rest. (havvent found a solution of the shelf"", or with mimnimum of time effort. found this peice of canbus translator. looks interesting. http://www.techmor.com/analog-to-can-module-ac-1-4/ wil look into the audrino next year. just no time. |

It's been a while coming and not without difficulties but here is a Puma dash fully operating in my Td5 90
![]() The controller is a prototype but development of a production unit is underway right now. Start Up Drive ![]() ![]() |

Hi Martin
Any progress. I am considering retro fitting a td5 into my puma. MD engineering supply the kit to fit to 6 speed box and if you have sorted this issue, and can supply the adaptor, thats what i will do. |

Hi all
![]() The production unit will support other engines as well as Td5 - there will be different software for these though, so different boxes (and looms). As far as timings go, I am aiming for mid/late June to have the first ones available ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The hardware has been designed to support all engine types and various sensors, so the quick answer is "all engines".
However different firmware (software) is needed for each engine type due to the different signals and sensors on each. And, for example, if you've got an Isuzu or Merc engine and want to drive the Puma dash then it's likely a custom firmware would be needed. They will be for sale on a new online shop - I will of course post details here ![]() ![]() ![]() |
