Was asking the same question at the recent PeterBog show & got talking to the Bearmach rep who was selling their new high end range called "wild bear" (or something like that) they had some textured rear corner bumperettes @ £185 a pair - such was their sheer weight & quality of construction IMHO made all the others feel like tissue paper!

Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge These are Equipe 4x4. Not the Terrafirma copies. Very very good quality and weigh lots. These are 90 ones but still worked ok on my 110. |

Have a look at these : http://www.safari-equip.co.uk/shop/index.p...s-110.html im at work but I will post some pics tonight......they are very heavy and strong..... the only thing that lets them down is the quality of the powder coating which is rubbish!I gave up swapping them in a hope i could get a set with a decent powder coat...if your willing to touch it up yourself then they are a great buy and are galvanised....they also fit with safari wheel carrier! edit pic: these are very strong and galvanised with a hopeless powder coat but one of the best IMHO....depends what you hit the crossmember is the weak link! Click image to enlarge[/URL] I have ones that are similar to the First Four and Terrafirma Versions. Also a Relation of the WB one's. Apart from a few tweeks they are fundamentally the same. I cannot find the vendor on ebay at the moment. but can say that they are very well made and should do the job. If you want them to last they need to be galvanised!

WOW... I, for one, love the look of these including the light guards...work of art! Optimists say the glass is half full.. Pessimists say the glass is half empty.. Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be! |

Personal taste ..but those cor 4x4 light guards and bumper are a tad ostentatious for a defender me thinks!belong on a farrari or an italian brothel door!they will crumple at the first sound of gunfire!
