I have it in mine and yes it's a doddle to fit and no need for additional adapters as it's a standard ISO connection
The blue box sits either left or right of the Headunit, plenty of space for it in the dash. Simply plug your current ISO connections into from the Landy and plug the ISO connection from the blue box into your Headunit. Microphone can be wired down the right hand side of the dash into the footwell and up into the fuse box area, across the footwell and up the pillar into the headlining...i actually mounted mine on the sun visor, you do see a small cable but that's ok with me. If you have the screen as well, you can mount this above the headunit and the cable will go between the facia panels underneath the clock when you click it all back in place ( this requires you to remove the facia panel first, but you can re route the cable anywhere if you like. Hope that helps |

Hi Badger 110
I see from the installation instructions that there are 3 options as to which to connect the 'mute' wire to; which one did you choose 1, 2 or 3?? I have also noted that there are 2 versions of this kit; the v2 and v3. Which one have you got? BT playback can be extremely useful to use and more future proof than cabling.
It should also let you use your phone or iPad as your HU and control device and no built in HU can really compete with that. Steve Mead Designs had a nice in dash iPad device build the other day I saw. There are also stand alone BT devices you can run with RCA outputs to an external amp, which can run a full system. Of course you don't have the BT then though. Lots of possibility. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
