Assembly has started.

I was going to install my new 15P engine, but then remembered the injectors are different between the 10p and 15p so we paused on the 15p installation.

I also was quoted a nice price for the GT2052 hybrid cartridge, as well as GTB2260VK hybrid cartridge.

I was goin to purchase another modular header, but the prices screamed up...I got mine in dec for about 75gbp, now ebay has them for 160gbp and up...

Lets see if i want the headache or not.

Dont always believe what you read online.

I was under the impression that a front diff cover for a Dana 60 should have fitted on my Salisbury housing.

I machined the holes, and got proper bolts to fit, and upon fittin the cover, it came in contact with my crown.

Feelin very upset, i started to repair my original diff cover, which is littered with holes.

IF, i decide to modify the dana cover, i would need to make a 15mm spacer.

Borderline not worth it...

Also Rakeway sent me two left rotors, so i need to chat with them and get the correct right side to complete my kit.

Finally got the rear end on, man what a pita!!!

Trailin arms are on, springs and airbags installed, A-frame needed a little modifyin to fit. I have the tubular model, and the mounts had to be modified, then i found with the eye all the way in it was still too long.

Cab doesnt fit the chassis properly, the front two outriggers are not positioned properly so i need to modify and fix...

My corsa rs recaro seats fit, after i modified the seat risers. The recaros are 2cm narrower than original and 10cm shorter...

Pix to follow after outrigger repair

More and more parts goin on these days.

My problem list

Front Recaro seats from Corsa RS
-Exmoor adaptor not needed. My head was way too high, almost touched it without the headliner
-Modified the base plate so i may have more head clearance.
-Seating a little funny, but will make changes later once dash is installed
--my knees are very high and my butt low.

Rear folding seats
-Need to pull the seats forward so they may clear the rear
--makin new seat box out of 3mm steel.
--Also makin side supports

110 45 ltr additional Fuel tank.
-I am not keen on drillin a hole in my plastic fuel tank, so i will modify my 110 aux fuel tank to house an external fuel transfer pump. When my fuel level gets low, i will transfer from my aux tank to main tank and keep drivin. Will route dump hose through main inlet of main tank.

Clutch booster
-modified main clutch line to route to the new inline clutch booster so my pedal effort is much less. I got a 1.9 instead of a 2.3 ratio. Price and availability dictated.

Pictures to follow

She runs, bleed the brakes, and the clutch lines. But the clutch pedal has to be really low to release the clutch. I installed another check valve on the inline servo, but no dice. Still really low, we also extended the clutch rod as far as it will go, and still no big difference. I would like the pedal to be about 3/8 to 5/8 stroke to either engage or release the clutch, having to go 7/8 stroke is too far for my comfort.

Had a thermostat issue, and swapped it out

Phil from OEM developments helped to supply the new suede headliner.

I swapped to exmoor elite black rack seats to match the rear seats, but then found the rear seats from the newer defender wagons dont fit the HC cabs. I then ordered the rear covers for the original seats and am on hold for 3-5 weeks as exmoor are made to order and not stocked.

My exhaust troubles keep gettin worse. I ordered the griffin 3" system for my 130. They sent me 2.5" so i asked for 3" down pipe, they accepted and sent me the down pipe minus the turbo coupler flange. I had a chat with my fabricator and we can probably make one here and be done with the issue. Still planning to do a 3" to 2.75" exhaust system. I find the 2.5 wont flow enough and the 3" will be all noise and no true power. The 2.75" is the sweet spot where flow is just enough and the noise isnt as bad as a 3" Will revert my findings once they are proven. I may even do a three step exhaust where its a 3" down pipe, 2.75" muffler, and 2.5" over the axle pipe.

Its been a while since my last post. And i have to admit i am startin to see my jewel

Safety Devices inner roll cage installed.
Door cards are being installed now
Front Exmoor Elite sport seats will be installed once i finish installing my radio and electric switch pod.

I have the Fusion MS-BB300R with hideaway system, so the display will be in the dash, but the main unit will be hidden under the passenger seat.
I will install 5.25 JL speakers in the front, and later install larger ones in the rear.
I scored the MUD sub locker for under the cubby, so i will have enough bass to thump to
I also bought the Sprint Booster and PSI piggyback, and one more device to play around with my MSB ecu.

BEFORE YOU POUND ME, i have five gauges on my dash, Rpm/Boost/AFR, EGT, Methanol injection, Oil PSI, and Transfer oil temp. I will be able to log all these parameters and tweak the tune via the piggy backs, and also i will know if i am pushing my engine too hard from the EGT. Plus the PSI is a replacement for the Bearmach, which makes it more acceptable than the fleabay sellers. It actually plugs into the ecu and not just the injector harness.

I have a griffin 3" to custom 2.75" exhaust, so i will not overspeed the turbo

My AP racing brakes need bleeding, but my clutch feels great now after a good bleed and proper orientation, I had it upside down.

I ordered a Smitty winch with syn rope and wireless remote. Should arrive next week. I also ordered some sand anchors as i do not have steel rims. Wouldn't fit around my Ap brakes.

I've been thinking of this upgrade. Jave you done it Bankz? Fixed or top hinge? Worth it? Whilst I hat the rattle, I like the OE look of the slidy window, not to mention it's usability. Was considering just getting wedges fashioned that can insert into the tracks and stop the rattle... Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Back on the road again.

We had a warped exhaust manifold, lost injector signal, grinded brake caliper, but now the only problem i have is no power between 2000-2500 rpm and a a slight pull to the right.

I will be posting a question on the td5 section about td5inside, are their vnt turbos worth the wait and price?

Latest update, my remote clutch servo failed me, so i bit the bullet and bought the redboostwrs lhd clutch kit.

Now my fluid has turned black just from bleedin, and whilst in gear doesnt pull the dame as it use to. May have to drop the gearbox and see if my clutch is toast.

I swapped over to the new RedBoost clutch kit, found i used a hose that is too small in Dia, i used 2mm instead of 4-5mm. I am tryin to source a replacement locally, but may go to Goodridge.

I have had issues with my clutch, where when i get over 2500rpm in 5th, the rpm climbs, and i have excessive slip. Well we found the clutch was burnt by the previous owner and i didnt check it during my rebuild.

We also found a diesel leak from the fuel regulator, I gets parts frequently but given the costs involved as well as the time needed to receive the part and install it, I decided to put the 15P engine / turbo / ecu in. Lets see what this setup brings to the table...

I installed a 50" Radiance+ led bar, as well as three KC Led Driving lights. I have it where when i activate the high beams the kc lights function, or if i activate the led bar the kc lights also function... Switch pro, best lil kit i bought, great price and completely customize-able.

Mean while, we have started to help soften the noises inside the cab, i am waiting on a shipment from my supplier, which includes the dynamat for the foot wells as well as the front seatbox, i will then cover in 1/4 dynaliner for a nice finish and finally cover in my newly purchased floor mats.
